Mark Warren - Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Final Year Student

Currently studying towards my degree, I have experience in C, C#, C++, Python, Java, Javascript, SQL, PHP and HTML 5. My course applies what we know in everyday smart devices, as well as CISCO Networking, Micro-Controllers, Engineering and Ethics. I am well versed in methodologies of Software Development such as Agile. I hope to inspire and innovate.

This portfolio discusses a group project for Robotic Modelling and Drone Skin Design Module at Staffordshire University. This Project follows Product Design Development Process (Baker, P., 2010) Sources (in brackets) can be found in the References portion of this website.

Please refer to the Introduction section for more information on use of this website and a discussion on the project whole. All images and content can be found in the depository here:

Project Section and Tools Preview

Introduction - General brief of project goals and what the group hoped to accomplish.

Design - What MOSCOW requirements the group agreed upon as well as a general discussion, resources and sketches to decide on what tools we should use to accomplish the group's goals.

Development - Concept development is produced and more resources are examined, both are evaluated.

Detail- Product Design is further developed, the first prototype produced and is further evaluated for practical purpose.

Production- The final version's design is refined, list of parts is produced and assembly is finalised. The team finally evaluates the head for purpose.

STL Viewer - A online tool used to display 3 Dimensional models.

Blender - Software used to create Mesh Models and Animations allowing positioning in 3 Dimensional Space.

Fusion 360 - CAD CAM software used to create Models and generate animation previews.

3D Scanning - Scanners used to generate realistic models from physical real life objects.

Laser Cutting - Laser Cutters cut shapes from flatbed material to be used in projects.

Touch X - A pen used to simulate 3 Dimensional space via haptic feedback, this can be used to develop 3 Dimensional models.

Latex - Substance used to create Physical Artifacts and Products.

Mocap - 3 Dimensional Object Manipulation via use of Cameras and Tracking. This Renders Computer Generated Objects in place of trackers found by cameras.

Conclusion - Summary of methods the group used to accomplish task and thoughts on what we would improve/change if we continued the project.
